We had an extra day to relax since we didn't go to Xcaret which was just fine with us.
A lot of homeschooling and swimming and underwater flips forward and backwards and practice at diving and a lot of research of the next couple weeks of travel. We finished up leftover fruits vegetables and meats in case they would be confiscated at the Belize border. We watched as Hurricane Helene developed over the last day. It rained on and off all day but the wind did not pick up.
