Another day of driving in over 100F temperatures. 
dd spotted a rattlesnake slithering amongst the roots of a ocotillo bush.

we stopped at Walmart and Chick-fil-A before leaving Tuscon.

79 cent drinks any size at Circle K but $1.50 if you use the Styrofoam cup for the slushy or so the man behind the counter said. But he was going to cut us a break for the misunderstanding.  Slurpees and Icees are better.

Wild West RV Park in Van Horn, TX. Clean bathrooms and full hook ups.

We lost two hours today (Pacific and Mountain time zones). We arrived in Van Horn in the dark. 840pm but our bodies said it was only 640pm. Dinner was rice with Chick-fil-A and spinach and the kids skated on the cement in front of the bathrooms. The train ran a few hundred feet away but our ac was louder.
