Seminole Canyon State Park
We had never heard of Seminole Canyon state park but the visitor center map advertised daily cave painting tours at 10am so we decided the border could wait a day. I am a sucker for prehistoric cave paintings. And caves. The campground was tidy and bathroom clean with showers, and there was a dump station. $20 for power and electric site and $4 for each adult. sunrise
We made it to Eagle Pass and I did some laundry and washed the RV and weighed it at the car truck scales (9500 lbs with full water and gas) while the kids had school at the Chick-fil-A. We camped at the Kickapoo Lucky Eagle casino for $28 (full hookups). Kickapoo also happens to be the tribe my brother and I belonged to as Y-Indian Guides when we were kids. We had dinner at the casino food court. I had a lettuce wrapped double cheeseburger. Dd had a slice of pepperoni pizza. Christine and Ellie shared a bowl of pho.
