We had planned on visiting Xcaret or some other theme park in the area but the kids were not interested, so I just saved $500!
I went to get the oil changed I had planned to do in pdc.
It was around $100 for synthetic blend, which is okay considering. Full synthetic 5L costs around $100 at the store. I swung by AutoZone and picked up some extra oil filters in case they are not available in South America, RainX, and some extra wiper blades. I also bought some tamales and some groceries and some more money from the ATM.
When I got back to the condo, the family was in the pool. The water was perfect. The kids were snorkeling around the pool. There was a center covered island with seating. Who needs Xcaret? After lunch I went to the RV and took care of some maintenance stuff. The RV was a sauna. I came out dripping sweat and my clothes soaked. We hit the pool again. Dd can swim faster than his mother now. We are at that age. The condo has a nice patio and grill but the grill must have clogged jets because the temperature barely made it to 200F.
I ended up cooking the sausages and hot dog on the stove.
