I did not know we were entering another heat wave, but it wouldn't have changed out plans. We were headed to universal studios to use the second day of our buy one get two days tickets from mid summer. As we approached universal studios it was already 100F and it wasn't 10am yet. Fortunately schools were back in session so the park was not very crowded and the lines were not very long. We made it to Mario kart with only a 25 minute wait and Jurassic world with no wait. We didn't make it to the actual studios tour and waterworld stunt show was delayed/cancelled due to the weather. We had many drink refills and wet ourselves at the splash pad. The RV was 122F when we returned and it was a 2 hour drive in traffic to Irvine for dinner with Janice and Edward. We swam in the community pool with their wonderful neighbors.
