RV is back

I hung out all day at the mechanic and climbed up the ladder to get the spare under hood generator belt and tensioner tool during the mechanics' lunch break. They were able to swap out the tie rod ends and the lower control arms and front brakes for ceramic brakes and resurfaced the rotors after the glazing from Costa Rican hills and swapped out the cracked UHG belt. They test drove it and found a squeaky brake and pushed the pad in and the squeaking stopped. It ended up being an all day job. It started pouring rain in the afternoon. We had planned on driving to Panama city for mandatory police inspection tomorrow before dropping off the RV for shipment but I found out the shipping date was pushed forward two days and we would need to do the inspection on Friday and then drop off next week. We would have to juggle around our plans for next week but we had to make it happen. Tomorrow we will drive to David and get a front end alignment and hopefully it will be quick and easy. It is great being back in the RV. It was $1600 for all the work on the RV.
