Cartagena day 5: old walled city
Still waiting for the RV and we were told it might arrive today, but clearly that did not happen. We went to print some homeschool for the kids. We found a random place a couple blocks away in a residential area. We printed 20 pages for $3. We ubered to the old walled city and found a old bullfighting stadium turned into a nice mall. We walked to a place for cheap local food. A traditional plate was around $6. This is in the tourist area so it's more than it should be. We had a fish filet with coconut sauce and a steak and some frozen drinks for $38. The steak place we went to last night was better. We went to a bookstore coffee shop for a little bit but mostly walked around. Christine tried a coffee for 25 cents. She says it was good. Better than the geisha coffee in Panama for $9.
We went back to the mall as it was warm and the AC at the mall was nice. We went to a Starbucks so Ellie could get a dragon fruit drink. She has $8 burning a hole in her pocket but couldn't find anything suitable. We went back to the Airbnb in the afternoon for pool time. We stopped at the grocery store to make some dinner. Ground beef and cabbage and rice. The shipping agent says maybe Monday the RV will arrive. We extended our stay again another couple days.
