We made it to South America!

We had breakfast did homeschool at the Airbnb and checked out and took an Uber to the Balboa all before 10am. Our flight was on a discount carrier Wingo, which has 2/5 star reputation on Google reviews. The email said to arrive 3 hours early, and when we got there we said the counter wouldn't start checking us in for another 90 minutes. We sat in the coffee shop area and the kids did homeschool and shared a hot dog. We were able to check in and get our luggage checked in. Our only hiccup was the stamp from the customs office indicating I could leave without my vehicle. The airline counter wanted more paperwork so I showed them my temporary import permit and receipt from overland Embassy. I didn't have anything else. They accepted this and immigration didn't bat an eye. Security let us bring our groceries without a problem. Even our waters in our bottles were ok.
The flight was only 70 minutes and there wasn't any beverage service. The plane was new and clean and when we arrived in Cartagena, immigration let us go through the children line which had no wait and we were able to get stamped in quickly without questions. No one asked for proof of onward travel. I had purchased a flight on Expedia less than 24 hours ago so I could cancel it for full refund in case Colombia immigration asked for a return ticket.
We got our luggage and nothing was missing and took our some money from the ATM and took an Uber to our Airbnb.
Once again, we booked an Airbnb with parking for the RV, so we couldn't stay in the old city. We had a place in the beach 20 minutes walking from the old city, and only 6 minutes from the airport.
Colombia's independence day is tomorrow so the beaches were packed. There were big puddles of water from recent rains but the forecast was for sun for the rest of the week.
The condo building had security and the front door was locked. They let us in and checked our passports and took our photos. The Airbnb was beautiful and the only mistake was that I thought this had a king sized bed but it was only queen.
We quickly unpacked and went to get some dinner at a grillhouse. The food was fantastic. We had some chicharrone, sausage, frozen drinks, chicken and rice, and a steak ($40). We went to a grocery store and bought milk and breakfast food. The sun set and we went back to the Airbnb. The kids wanted to see the pool which was closing soon. There were piles of beer cans around the revelers and the security man was anxious to close down at 7 pm and clean up. There was a kids playground which was nice. Outside the sounds of celebration echoed around the city. We made it to South America. Hopefully we will get the RV in the next few days.
