Hanging out at camp

We had planned on leaving today but Dd didn't want to because there were kids to play with and dogs to pet. We acquiesced and did laundry and I worked on plumbing leak at the shower pan which was cracked around the drain and the water pump which was suddenly much noisier.

I had imagined more down time on our pan American highway trip but they have not been very common with the RV. We had down time with shipping but most of our days have been push push push trying to get somewhere with long days in the driver's seat. Today was a nice break. We chatted with some of the travelers. There of the unimogs left and we said our "see you next times". The kids still got to play with two other kids. 

We had dinner with a German young man driving a BMW convertible.

He worked as an automotive engineer for Mercedes. More overlanders came in, two on BMW motorcycles, and one in a VW van picking up a part from another German arriving tonight from Germany. The arriving German had a defender that Hans had moved from the long term storage yard but wouldn't start again so a bunch of us had to push it out of the mud.
