Good bye Swiss Wassi camp friends

Dd announced that it felt like we camped there for three days instead of two. Unfortunately a bunch of us were leaving today. We had a 4 hour drive so we were not in any rush and let the kids play in the morning as we each lingered. I spoke with Christian, a woman traveling solo from Belgium. She had been in South America for 6 months, split between Colombia and Ecuador. She had been on the road for 9 years and had even driven to Moscow. She spoke French, Spanish, German, English, Greek, and Romanian.
The Swiss couple in the Hymer next door came to say hello and goodbye. They were headed to Piura, probably the same camp we were headed to. They had bicycled from Vancouver, BC to San Diego 25 years ago, when they were 50. They were driving the Panam this year and felt driving the Hymer was a luxury.
We took photos and said goodbye to everyone and headed on our way.
The coast road continued to look like Baja California and it was nice. Poor and dirty but familiar. The mostly flat driving was great for the RV and the kids slept for over an hour.
The campground was at a swimming pool, restaurant, bar complex with a clay tennis court. It was $12.50 to camp. We had a late lunch/dinner of ceviche, chicken Milanese, and steak, with juice and inka soda and ice cream. The bill including camping was $62. Not cheap but it was a grassy and shaded area and it was 92F out.
The Swiss couple (Werner and Lotte) from Swiss Wassi pulled up and we chatted for an hour until mosquito hour and then I hid in the RV. I then had to plug in the mosquito repellent and then used the electric tennis racket to kill the rest of the flying insects.
