Termas de Cachueta
It was nice and overcast this morning and the weather report predicted rain. We went to try to get an alignment done but they could not do it until afternoon if at all so we headed to pick up our laundry and then toward the mountains and the border to visit some hot springs.
It started to rain but we didn't care. We got there and parked and went inside. It was pretty busy despite not having a lot of cars in the parking lot. It turns out everyone was upstairs at the warmer pools and the lazy river and splash pool was pretty empty. We soaked in the hot tubs and then ate some leftovers for lunch. There were huge groups at the table and I wasn't sure if they were private groups or random strangers. They were being served asado or grilled meats. I had the left over chorzipan from yesterday which is the chorizo sandwich. It was great. We soaked up some more and spent three hours at the pools and then headed out to drive some hours toward the coast. We had several long days of driving ahead of us. The scenery was flat with bushes. The road was flat and straight.
