Drake passage day 2

The seas calmed down overnight and it was a much nicer day. We passed the south Shetland islands and massive icebergs appeared. We saw some whales in the distance. We headed into the wind with headwind of 65 kts and sustained winds at 55 mph. 

We got up and had breakfast. There was congee in the breakfast buffet.

We went to the 7th observation area and saw the icebergs and whales. The kids tried to play the game clue with Wyatt. It was 4 pm tea time and we had some desserts and a lot of tea.

There were a couple lectures I listened to about tomorrow's expeditions.

I clarified with the front desk that we had $400 onboard credit for each room. I purchased a nine day internet plan for $212 for my mother and Christine with the credit.

We had dinner and it was good I had rib eye. 

The waves were bumpy as we went to bed.
