Perito Moreno Glacier

It was cold last night but I was nice and warm. The wind shook the van in the early morning hours. The YPF turned me away when I tried to dump the cassette and their water faucet was too large for my hose so we spent the next hour and a half finding a place to dump and fill water. We stopped to pick up some gluten free empanadas for Christine and we hit the road. The day was beautiful but cold and windy. High would only be 51F. We paid $45/adult and $7 per child or student to enter the national Park of glaciers where the Perito Moreno glacier was the highlight.A free shuttle bus took us from the parking lot to the boardwalk. The wind was fierce and we could only stand being out there briefly.
We went back to the RV and had some hot chocolate and late lunch and early dinner.
We saw some Andean Condors and a Patagonia coyote. We stopped at an overlook and enjoyed the view and went to find a campsite. We parked just off a dirt road. The wind was not as fierce but it was cold and we bundled up and the kids played in a creek. Two other Chilean plated rental vans pulled up and camped next to us. The area looked like the Dalton Highway in Alaska and we started seeing fall colors.
