Playa Orengo

I had a great night of sleep and didn't hear any music. The problem with the kids staying up late meant they got up late. The kids played on the playground before we left and Ellie slipped and fell and landed on her face with a few scrapes. We filled up ok water and headed out to get some gas. The attendant scrubbed the windshield to get most of the bug guts off. The kids bought some candy and we headed south. It would be a short drive today, only three hours.
Dark skies loomed in the distance with a lot of lightning strikes.
When we arrived at a town for groceries the rain came down and it poured for ten minutes and then cleared up.
We headed out toward a section of beach to meet up with a family Christine has followed on Instagram for ten years, Malimish. They had three kids older than ours. We drove out along a mostly sand and shell path and almost got stuck 50 ft from them but the RV pulled through the soft sand. We made out introductions and walked on the low tidal rocky shelf and talked for the next eight hours.
There were a couple dead penguins here. The kids played some uno. Christine made pasta for the kids. I skipped dinner. We went to bed around midnight.
There is a leak in the main faucet that I need to fix.
There are a lot of flying insects here despite the wind and they find their way in the RV.
Amazingly it did not rain on our beach.
