Portal Point

Our next destination was Portal Point. We had a early Zodiac time so we had room service bring breakfast. Breakfast buffet didn't open until 8am.

We all assembled down into the mudroom and boarded our zodiac including dad.

The seas were calm and not too sunny and no precipitation. Dad sat next to a barrel full of walking sticks and the rest of us walked over to see a crab eater seal and up to the top of a hill to see humpback whales cruise the bay. Our ship looked tiny compared to the icebergs.

We headed back to the ship and saw humpbacks so close to the zodiac and the ship. 

We headed out and the weather turned and it started to snow. We went into the hot tub and there was an announcement and people rushed to the rails.

There were humpbacks everywhere and orcas chasing them. Apparently a pack of orca took down a humpback 

The kids had a snowball fight. 

We visited the bridge.

We celebrated Ellie's birthday which was a month ago and had some cake and the wait staff sang for her and she got a penguin stuffy.
