Ushuaia

Daily chores for overlanding include dumping our cassette, gray water, dumping trash, and filling up fresh water and occasionally propane and doing laundry. There was a dump station and water fill station near the airport for $7 and after being unsuccessful at filling yesterday at he YPF we headed there to avoid wasting time driving all over Ushuaia.
After the dump and fill we headed to the indoor mall for the kids to get some energy out. It was 45F out and it was scheduled to rain and we didn't want to walk around outside. I went to get propane filled for the RV which is not an easy task since propane tank valves come in different sizes and connectors in different countries. We were lucky to be able to fill easily in Colombia and Peru because they have vehicles that run on propane and we could fill at gas stations. In other countries you need to gravity filled as we did in Ecuador or you find a propane truck and they have adapter valves and that's what I did in Ushuaia except I waited at the propane distribution plant until a truck returned and they filled me up. I waited around 45 minutes but it was worth because I was only my last 1/3 and it was cold and we would be using more propane.
I returned to the mall and caught up with everyone upstairs at the arcade and went to the adjacent grocery store for airplane snacks and went back to town. Argentina is going through terrible inflation and some of the food court places had hardly any food on display because they didnt expect any customers. The Dutch family we met in Ecuador, Moving Mountains, caught up to us today and we meet up at the campground. Dan, Jocelyn, Alma, Emerson the family from Utah we met two days showed up too. Dan needed to borrow a voltmeter which I happened to have. The kids played around in the cold while we caught up until it became too cold and everyone went back into their home on wheels. We started packing our bags because we had a flight tomorrow.
