Ushuaia

We entered the Beagle Channel in the middle of the night and I woke up and the ship was no longer rocking. It was a nice flat cruise to port.
We had a late breakfast downstairs. We had arrived a day early and so we had a free day in Ushuaia. There was a lot more snow in the mountains. We started packing luggage to bring the RV. We had collected more stuff including the parkas and vests and reusable water bottles from the cruise.
We had lunch which included hot dogs which Dd enjoyed and fresh churros. We ubered to the RV and dropped off the stuff. The Canadian overlandbros were parked next to us in the cramped yard. There was ice in the windshield cowl and the yard was a lot of dog poop and was soaked. One of the batteries was off for some reason but the other batteries were fine.
We ubered back the ship and were glad to be back inside and dry and warm.
We watched a penguin movie in the theater with popcorn and then I sat with Wyatt's grandparents for a spell.
We attended the expedition recap which was great. It would have been nice to attend more of the lectures. They showed off the photos and videos of the polar plunge and some other shots the ship photographer took. There was a Whatsapp group chat formed to share photos from the cruise.
Dinner was Indian buffet and it was great. They say Wyatt's family next to us and the waitstaff didn't have to deliver notes back and forth between the kids which they had been doing the last ten days.
The dining staff sang happy birthday and delivered three cakes one of which was for Dd. And Dd's fourth tooth of this trip fell out. It had been loose for two months.
We sat late at the table and made our way up after exchanging contact information with Wyatt's mom and I handed out gratuity envelopes to our waiter and cabin steward.
We have to be out of our cabin at 8am tomorrow.
