Balneario Camboriu

The alleged wind and rain storm did not appear overnight but was now forecasted for this afternoon. It was overcast this morning while the kids did homeschool and I finished repairing the window blinds and added chlorine to the water tank. It needed to sit in the tank for four hours during which we would spend out of the RV today.
We headed to a nearby town that had an aquarium to keep out of the rain. Balneario Camboriu was 30 minutes away and was on a large sandy bay and had towering white condos along the waterfront. I had never heard of it before but it has the highest real estate value per square meter in all of Brazil, hence the towering condos everywhere. It was very beautiful even under the cloudy skies.
We inched under the entrance to the parking lot which promised 3 m limit and we are 2.89 m and parked next to the aquarium. There was an offer of a five tickets for one price for the oceanic aquarium and we took the bait. Also for the month of May, mothers were free.
The aquarium was very good. From there we went to vr experience for the kids which we didn't do. We went to a pirate experience which was all in Portuguese and so all the jokes went over us. It was not awesome because of that. Then we walked along the beach to the classic car museum and let the kids do another vr experience using our passports. We then took the shuttle bus back to the aquarium because it started to rain.
We went to a supermarket and I was surprised how inexpensive our groceries were, $20. We found a good campground a block away for $33/night. I had to dump the chlorinated water and rinse twice. It was raining on an off for the rest of the night while I monitored the water. It takes a while for the 30 gal tank to empty. Christine made dinner which she has for almost every night on this trip. They all showered in the shower stalls since the watertank was still being rinsed. Today was basically trying to do something with rain on the schedule. It is supposed to rain for a few more days but the 40 kt winds did not come yet so maybe the forecast will change. It has been nice to be cool out but the short drives and lack of sunshine is keeping our battery levels low.
I bought this water dispenser USB charged for this trip but haven't used it until today. Christine wants to drink bottled water again. Only cost $3 on Amazon at the time and I have seen it for $6 in stores in Latin America.
