Bombinhas

Today was check out day which can take several trips back and forth from the room to the RV and then takes time to reorganize everything in the RV. The kids wrote an apology letter to the woman at the hotel and she in turn wrote a letter no apology needed and gave them each a bag of M&M's.
There was a neighborhood dog that lingered and we kept feeding it chicharrone.
We filled water and dumped the cassette and headed out of town, stopping at a grocery store.
We had a short drive south on the coast to Bombinhas, on a peninsula with beautiful beaches. It is low season still and most of the places were closed including the campground we wanted stay at. We parked out side and made lunch and the kids played on the beach for a couple hours. We drove to another beach for a more suitable parking lot at sunset. There were shipping containers turned into shower and restrooms scattered around and it was good to use that to rinse off the sand. The kids played in the surf and even waded into the water which was 74F. The beaches here are so beautiful and clean. The weather is so nice. The low temperature will only be 72F which is kind of warm. The weather will drop 10 degrees in 2 days. We will enjoy this weather while we can.
