Florinopolis day 2

We hung out in the campground until late talking to Romulus the Brazilian we met last night. He corrected himself and told me that the pine tree was not a rubber tree and they collect the sap as a resin for all sorts of uses. He had been stationed in DC, Canada, Buenos Aires, Switzerland, Austria, and Afghanistan for counter terrorism. I think that means special operations since there is no terrorism in Brazil.
It was overcast and drizzled off and on in the morning. We went to a skate park to let the kids skate and then after lunch we went to Joaquina  Beach for a couple hours and then went to find a campground which ended up being closed for the season so we boondocked camp at the entrance of an animal reserve that was closed. We closed the night out with some uno and then Madagascar movie.
