Penha rainy day

The kids had a lot of homeschool today with various breaks. It continued to rain most of the day and this hotel has a nice covered area with stuff to amuse them. Unfortunately they decided to pick the pain and drywall mud off the peeling areas and made it worse. We made them clean up and doing a writing lesson about what they did. They wrote us and the hotel and apology letter. 

Not much else happened today. I was having difficulty buying tickets for Beto Carrera park tomorrow online so the hotel owner, who happened to be a chief of the highway patrol in Joinville, took me to the ticket office to buy the tickets. He was so nice. He moved here from Rio de Janiero after being stationed here in the army and falling in love with the area. He has been here 23 years.
