Buenos Aires day 4

Today we headed out to visit the children's museum at Abasto. It's at the mall Abasto. It is sort of like a Kidzania. There are corporate sponsors with creative work play places that show what it is like to work at these places. There was a grocery store where you could buy groceries and then check out at the cashier. But you had to put the groceries back when you were done playing. There was a McDonald's, bank, dulce de leche factory, sewage waste management, radio station, TV station, newspaper company, health department, candy factory, dentist office, shipping port customs, and working kitchen. We were there for two hours and Ellie met an 8 year old from North Carolina to play with. She and her family were in Buenos Aires for two weeks and were flying home tonight.
We had a snack at the food court. Shockingly a 10 piece nugget meal was $12. We went to KFC instead. We went to Lucciano's for half a kg of ice cream and then took an Uber to the San Telmo area to watch some tango. We went through the mercado again and then found the Mafalda statues. Mafalda is sort of like the Argentinian version of Peanuts cartoon.
We walked back to the apartment and did some laundry and had dinner. We check out in the morning.
