Colonial del Sacramento to Buenos Aires

We had to be at the port an hour before departure which was 1015am. We woke up and dumped and filled our water and headed to the port. This port is like a small airport terminal. We had to check in and go through immigration. The customs took our importation permit for the RV. We could not be in the RV for the hour ride. It was a catamaran boat so it was pretty steady and fast.
When we got to Buenos Aires we got our TIP for the RV quickly and then drove to the area around the Hilton where we stayed before the Antarctic cruise. The Puerto Madero area is where many overlanders stay for free. It was a rainy day and it was cold but we still saw four other campers. We parked next to two and asked if it was safe and they said yes. It was also free on the weekends.
We locked up the RV and took an Uber to Chinatown for some hot pot lunch. This would be our third time to Ma La Tang. We ordered two bowls and some food on sticks and a couple youtiao and empanadas. It came to $40.
We walked around and Chinatown was crowded. Christine bought some bubble waffle and we went to get some gelato at Lucciano's. We bought half a kilo for $11: mint chocolate, lemon, and pistachio cheese cake. Delicious. We went back to Chinatown to get some niu rou and braised pig ears for dinner tonight, and then took an Uber to a famous theater converted to a bookstore. We were there for two hours in the kids section reading books.
We went back to the RV after sunset and had the food from Chinatown.
