Rufino to Mendoza

We were able to fill and dump in the morning and the kids played on the playground. There was a crazy trapeze type of see saw that the kids had be try out with them on one side and me on the other. Fortunately no injuries followed.
We drove over seven hours to Mendoza following the sun. It was mostly a straight road with lots of toll booths. We stopped at a mall for the kids to play in Mendoza. We had KFC and Christine had a steak. There was a small indoor playground and they played there for an hour and we had popcorn. The kids had some soft serve from McDonald's. Almost every fast food chain sells soft serve and from a separate counter. We have seen all through Latin America. It usually costs $1.
It was as a warm as 69F today. We won't see those temperatures again until we leave I think. As we approached the mountains I thought I saw snow on them but it was hard to see in the setting sun.
The mall was setting up an indoor ice skating rink I think. This mall had a small indoor roller coaster.
Tonight we camped in a park by a police station with some over overlanding rigs.
