Santiago day 4
We had breakfast hotel which my family loves more than I do. It was a nice spread of juices, fruits, pastries, cereal, yogurt, heated trays of eggs, bacon, vegetables, and ham, and cold cuts of salami, cheese, and a variety of breads.

We went to check out the gym and pool. The tower shares it's facilities with the Marriott. The pool was outdoor and unheated and the spa was warm but not hot enough.
I walked to a bank to deposit money for the shipping company and took a rental electric push scooter back and it was fun and cheap.
We took more stuff out of the RV in anticipation of shipping the RV and figuring out which stuff we needed and which we needed to stow away. It would be much easier to go home with the RV on a ship or drive it. Leaving it seems to be an necessary evil. We have become so used to having all our stuff in one place.
The hotel allowed us to park in the parking garage where they allow oversized vehicles.
We went to have lunch at the mall and Christine was excited to eat at IKEA. The food was dry but the cafeteria was busy and we just missed the rush.

We spent a couple hours in IKEA letting the kids play. We went to Decathlon and I went to falabellas to see their Starlink mini for only $160. I thought about getting one but didn't have a good reason to.

We took the rental scooters back to the hotel much to the delight of the kids. Ellie could ride it herself but Dd was too short to see above the handlebars.

We went back to the room and enjoyed a hot bath since there wasn't hot water yesterday. I took the kids to the gym for half an hour and then came back for dinner. We are settling into our life off the Pan American highway. It will be easier to transition back to home.
